Can you really meet my budget, and if so how?
We look at many factors when trying to meet your budget. Sometimes, depending on these factors, we can lower the quote to meet
or get closer to your budget. Yet, remember, the opposite can happen if factors are not favorable! Maybe it's as easy as
simplifying the number of colors in your design, or bringing down the weight of the t-shirt. We can work with you to
discuss your options. Here are just a few of the things that can effect the original quote given through the on-line
quote estimator:
- Flexibility in artwork colors
- Flexibility in garment type
- When you need your garments
- The complexity of the artwork
- The current possible scheduled openings
- Printing in-house or through a partner
- Current wholesale garment sales and pricing
- Much more...
Am I obligated to purchase after getting a quote?
You are not obligated to purchase anything. Once you are happy with a quote and want to move forward, you can
pay by check, credit card, etc. You will be asked to manual sign, or digitally agree to a purchase order before
production will ever begin. You can decide not to purchase at any time.
How long does it take to get my garments?
This all depends on when you need them by. Sometimes, if we have plenty of time, we might be able to meet your
budget more easily. Also, sometimes we might have an opening in our schedule and can put you right in if you
order right away. It is always important to let us know when you need your garments by.
How much is shipping and who do you use?
Shipping is considered in the quote. We normally use UPS. If you want expedited delivery, you will be responsible for
that charge.
How long have you been in business?
We have been incorporated for over 6 years.
Where are you located?
Altoona, Iowa.
Do you do Direct to garment printing?
Yes, we have the in-house ability to do full color direct to garment printing. We have been using the technology since it became
popular. If you want to order fewer than 12 shirts, see our
ecustom.com site to design your own direct to garment shirt.
Can I order garment brands that are not listed on the site?
Normally, we only use what is found on the site. If you want us to add a specific brand and style to our site, contact us and
we will check into it.
What type of artwork should I send you and when?
Once we have reviewed your quote and budget amount, we will ask you to send us artwork if you have it. If you have production
artwork, that is great. Spot colors are best with EPS files, but we also can use Photoshop files or high resolution JPEG or
PNG files. We prefer the artwork to be 300dpi, but we can try to work with whatever you have.
What if I don't have artwork?
We will basic artwork for free. If you are looking for an original complicated design with many colors, we may refer you
to an artist that would charge you. If you are looking for more simple types of artwork, let us know. We will always tell
you up front if there will be any artwork charges. It is important that you describe the type of artwork you want in your
job details.
What is personalization?
We will put names or numbers on the front or backs of shirts. We use screened transfers to do this. You pay per item.
Do you do uniforms and other types of printing?
No. We try to do our best to stick to t-shirts. This specialization helps us to keep our prices as low as we can! We will
personalize normal shirts and sweatshirts for you. You can choose this option during the quote.
What kind of screen printing do you do?
We do spot color, simulated color, and index color separations. We only use regular plastisol inks. We do not use
water based, discharge, or specialty inks.
Do you screen print in house?
Yes, we have screen printing equipment in our facility. We also have direct garment printing, sublimation, laser engraving,
wide format printing. Yet, we are also ASI members and can use thousands of wholesale suppliers. In order to meet your
needs, we can farm out jobs to help meet your time restraints or budget restraints. You can specify to us if you would rather
have your garments printed in house, farmed out, or do not care.
Can you match colors?
Sure, we can match print colors. You must give us the Pantone (PMS) color that you want us to match and we will mix ink for it.
Embroidery quotes are not yet available on-line, but you can contact us for a quote.
